Refund Policy

At Prerna Tours we strive to offer the best travel experiences for our clients. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to accommodate refund requests within a fair and transparent framework, while also adhering to applicable laws and partner policies.

General Conditions for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  • The customer cancels a booking within the permitted cancellation window.

  • The service provider (such as airline, hotel, or tour operator) cancels the booking or is unable to deliver the promised service.

  • A refund is mandated under Indian consumer protection laws or as per the terms and conditions agreed at the time of booking.

Timeframe for Refund Requests

Customers must request a refund in writing within:

  • 7 days from the date of cancellation for domestic services.

  • 14 days from the date of cancellation for international services.

Requests received beyond these timeframes may not be eligible for a refund.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are subject to the policies of our third-party suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, visa service providers). Eligibility may vary based on:

  • Type of service booked (e.g., non-refundable airline ticket, refundable hotel booking).

  • Notice period before cancellation (e.g., 48 hours before departure).

  • Reasons for cancellation (e.g., force majeure events may qualify under special terms).

Non-Refundable Services

The following services are generally non-refundable:

  • Visa processing fees

  • Travel insurance premiums

  • Convenience or service charges

  • Bookings marked as “non-refundable” at the time of purchase

Refund Method and Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method. Timelines:

  • Domestic bookings: Up to 10 business days

  • International bookings: Up to 21 business days

  • Refund timelines may extend due to third-party processing delays.

Partial Refunds

In certain cases, only a partial refund may be applicable, depending on:

  • The proportion of the services already availed.

  • The cancellation charges levied by suppliers.

Force Majeure

In the event of natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other force majeure circumstances, refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis, subject to partner policies and legal obligations.
